How to Share Access to Your Server (Subusers)

You can invite other users to access your server through the panel by adding them as a subuser. You can control exactly what they are allowed to do by assigning specific permissions.

Steps

1. Go to your server in the panel.
2. Click on the Users tab.
3. Click New User.
4. Enter the email address or username of the person you want to invite.
5. Under Detailed Permissions, select the permissions you want to grant them. Available permission categories include:
   • Control — console, start, stop, restart
   • User — create, read, update, delete subusers
   • File — create, read, update, delete, archive, download files
   • Backup — create, read, delete, download, restore backups
   • Allocation — read, create, update, delete port allocations
   • Startup — read, update startup variables, command, docker image, software
   • Database — create, read, update, delete, view password
   • Schedule — create, read, update, delete schedules
   • Settings — rename, reinstall server
   • Activity — view server activity logs
   • Mod — manage mods (version, loader, download, resolver, update)
6. Click Invite User to send the invitation.

The invited user will receive an email with instructions to access your server.

Notes

• Subusers only have access to the permissions you assign — they cannot exceed what you allow.
• You can remove or edit a subuser's permissions at any time from the Users tab.
• The person you invite must have a BaoHost account to accept the invitation.
