Geyser and Simple Voice Chat Incompatibility
Geyser and Simple Voice Chat Incompatibility
GeyserMC and Simple Voice Chat conflict with each other when they share the same port or when a port is already in use. This prevents one or both plugins from working correctly.
โ ๏ธ Requires a secondary port allocation. Make sure you have one before proceeding. You can get one by going to the Network section in your panel and clicking New Allocation.
Steps
- Go to the Files tab in your panel.
- Navigate to
plugins folder. - Open
voicechat folder - Open
voicechat-server.properties. - Find the line that starts with
port=. - Change the value to your secondary port allocation number.
- Save the file.
- Restart your server.
Notes
- By assigning Simple Voice Chat to your secondary port, both plugins can run without interfering with each other.
- You may still see an "Address already in use" error from GeyserMC โ this can be safely ignored. Bedrock players will still be able to join normally.
