How to Enable Cheats on Bedrock

By default, cheats are disabled on Bedrock servers. You can enable them by editing your server.properties file.

Steps

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Go to the Files tab in your panel.
  3. Open server.properties.
  4. Find the line that starts with allow-cheats= and set it to true: allow-cheats=true
  5. Save the file and restart your server.

Players with operator (OP) permissions can now use cheat commands such as /gamemode, /give, /tp, and others in-game.

๐Ÿ“ Note: Cheat commands are only available to players with operator permissions. To grant OP permissions, see: How to OP Players or How to OP Offline Players.
