Exit Code 128 (Elytra Daemon)
If your server crashes or fails to start, you may see the following in your console:
[Elytra Daemon]: ---------- Detected server process in a crashed state! ----------
[Elytra Daemon]: Exit code: 128
[Elytra Daemon]: Out of memory: false
[Elytra Daemon]: Aborting automatic restart, last crash occurred less than 60 seconds ago.
What causes this
Exit Code 128 is typically caused by:
- Your node is experiencing an outage or undergoing maintenance.
- A bug or corruption in your server files.
How to fix it
- Check for node outages โ Your node may be experiencing issues. Check our Discord Server for any announcements regarding outages or maintenance.
- Reinstall your server โ If the issue is related to corrupted server files, go to the Settings tab in your panel and click Reinstall Server and toggle Wipe all server files.
- If the issue persists after reinstalling, ping a community support member in our Discord Server and provide your panel username and node name โ they'll be happy to help.
โ ๏ธ Warning: Reinstalling will delete all server files including plugins, configs, and worlds. Make sure to back up your files first.
