How to Install Geyser + Floodgate (Crossplay)
Geyser allows Bedrock Edition players to join your Java Edition server. Floodgate lets them join without a Java account.
Requirements:
- A Java Edition server
- Plugin-based server software (Paper, Purpur, Spigot, etc.)
- A secondary allocation port (you can add one in the Networking tab of your panel)
Installation
- Download the latest builds of Geyser and Floodgate from geysermc.org.
- In the BaoHost panel, go to the Files tab and open the
plugins/folder. - Upload both
.jarfiles into theplugins/folder. - Start your server to generate the config files, then stop it.
Configuration
If you are updating from an older version of Geyser, generate a new config by deleting the old config.yml in plugins/Geyser-Spigot/ and restarting your server once to regenerate it before proceeding.
- In the Files tab, navigate to
plugins/Geyser-Spigot/and openconfig.yml. - Set the following values:
bedrock:
port: <your secondary allocation port> # the <> is not needed.
transport: nethernet
signaling:
mode: builtin
advertise-addresses: [IP_ADDRESS] # Don't include the port.
stun-discovery: true
java:
auth-type: floodgate # or online โ both work
- Save the file and restart your server.
